Welcome to WIREWAX Studio!
Our Studio has been entirely designed with users just like you in mind. Flip through our handy visual guidebook of the Studio, or read on for helpful tips and tricks to make your interactive WIREWAX masterpiece in as little as 10 minutes.
Getting Started with WIREWAX Studio
WIREWAX Studio is a one-of-a-kind interactive video tool that — first and foremost — allows you to create clickable points on your video to engage, inform, and entertain your viewers. We’ve done our research: viewers spend TWICE as long with interactive video compared with traditional video, so it’s safe to say you’re in the right place. 🎉
New to interactive video? Never fear. Our Studio was designed for users of all levels to be able to harness the most advanced interactive technology available, with just a few clicks in an easy-to-use interface.
WIREWAX Studio is a browser-based tool that you can access from anywhere. Make sure your internet connection is stable, and you’re using the most up to date version of your browser (preferably Google Chrome). Bookmark this page for easy everyday access: wirewax.com/studio
Everything that you do in the Studio is auto-saved as you progress, so you can come back and update your project anytime – no worries about anything getting lost.
Let’s get started.
1. Identify your content
First things first, you’ll need to upload a piece of creative: a video or image that you want to make interactive.
You can make any piece of content interactive – whether you’re shooting new footage or repurposing your existing digital content. Keep in mind when shooting or choosing video footage for interactive: If you plan on using objects or people’s faces as clickable hotspots, make sure they’re visible on screen in their entirety for at least 3 seconds. If you plan on creating Branching points (more on that later!), upload all of the necessary video creative as one singular file, our magic works on top.
2. Upload everything!
From your DAM, click the upload button, or drag and drop a file right over the DAM. You can even bring in videos from a URL from popular video sites like YouTube and Vimeo.
Upload as many files as you want. Our computer vision and machine learning technology will take a few minutes to work its magic and you’ll receive an email notification when your video is ready for editing.
3. Keep things organized
Once you’ve uploaded files, you’ll be able to organize your DAM however you like – by creating Folders for individual projects, setting a Status on each video, and inviting team members to have access to your uploads for an easy, collaborative process. 🤝
That’s it! Next, the fun part – adding interactivity to your uploaded files.
